James is a Game Master and Adventure writer who has been gaming since the late 90s/early 2000s and first entered the hobby through bespoke play-by-post forums and DnD 3.5e. After discovering Shadowdark RPG as he moved away from 5e during the OGL debacle he jumped fully into the OSR and NSR and hasn't looked back. To date, he has published adventures for Shadowdark and Mork Borg, and has run many sessions of both those and Deathbringer.

When he isn’t gaming, James is a miniatures painter and terrain crafter, and enjoys hiking with his dog Moose. For his day job, he is a professional Firefighter/Paramedic.
